I started Mary & Martha Care to offer the kind of support I'd want for my own family: practical, warm, and never rushed.
I help older people who'd like a little extra help with everyday life — keeping the home comfortable, getting out and about, staying on top of letters and appointments, and simply having good company.
Because I work on my own, you'll always see me. I get to know how you like things done, what matters to you, and the little details that make a visit feel like a friend dropping in rather than a service arriving.
Whether you need a few hours a day or just a little help each week, I'm here to make everyday life easier, more enjoyable and less stressful.

Good company and practical help
In Luke's Gospel, two sisters welcome a guest into their home. Mary sits at his feet and listens; Martha throws herself into the practical work of hospitality. It's a story about how love shows up in different ways — in the being there, and in the doing.
Good care needs both. The unhurried conversation over a cup of tea matters. So do the tidy kitchen and the full fridge. Every visit offers a little of each.
